Granite and Backsplash and Shutters....oh my!

Congrats to all my fellow Ryan Homes bloggers out there who are making tremendous progress on their homes! The crew working on our house has also been busy. We now have; granite countertops, tile backsplash in our kitchen, the glass for our shower in the master bath and the outside the house now has all of its shutters. Here are the latest update pics (in random Blogger order):

In other news....we are inching towards a resolution on the closing date situation. I don't want to jinx things so I will disclose the details once we reach an agreement with the District Manager :)

  1. Looking gorgeous! We (I) wanted wall ovens so badly but they wouldnt budge on that one. 2nlehigh got them in his market but in VA it wasnt happening. I dont know why they do that, if Im willing to pay I want it! --Ericka

    1. Me too! I had to upgrade to the Gourmet Kitchen with nonstandard layout (read pay extra for no reason) just to get the double ovens. My husband jokes that the only time I will use them is Thanksgiving and Christmas...but I just HAD to have them.

    2. And the only time they touch those golfclubs/bowling ball/archery set that they HAD to have is to move them from one corner to the other, so touche! lol

  2. Everything looks beautiful! Love the cabinet, granite, and backsplash combination. I would love the double ovens too, but it's not offered for our model and I think I would have mentioned another non-standard, my SR might have had a heart attack :)

    1. Thank you! The cabinets are Scottsdale Maple Espresso and the Granite is Santa Cecilia. Good luck with your selections!

    2. That combination is at the top of our list! Thanks for sharing your pictures. You chose the same combination as a model in our area, even down to the backsplash (3rd picture down): http://ryanhomesjourney.blogspot.com/

  5. Those dark custom shutters look amazing on your house. I love the color and I think your house became more sophisticated because of it. The granite countertops are very beautiful as well! I really love this material.
